We would like to take this opportunity to invite you to our annual 5-A-Side competition.
For those of you that have been before you will know that this is probably the biggest and most well organised event in the area which provides the opportunity for over 1800 children to participate in football.
Squads are of 7 players maximum (5 playing + 2 subs that can be rolled on and off)
Boys Event
There will be separate competitions for 'A' teams and 'B' teams.
A winner's cup will be presented and every single player at the event will receive a trophy.
As at last year's event we are insisting that you bring two teams to the event.
One 'A' team and one 'B' team (The definition of 'A' team is your strongest 5-a-side team and your 'B' team your weaker team regardless of whether they still may play for your 11-a-side 'A' team ).
Any team found to be playing their stronger team in the 'B' team competition will be disqualified from the event
The entry fee for this event is £25 per team.
There will be 12 'A' teams and 12 'B' teams per age group.
PLEASE NOTE UNDER 7'S AND UNDER 8'S WILL NOT PLAY COMPETITIVELY AS PER FA GUIDELINES
Girls Event
Each age group will consist of 12 teams playing in 2 groups of 6.
You can enter one team or more to this event.
If you enter more than one team they will be placed in different groups.
As at the boys events there will be trophies for all that participate at the event.
Entry to this event is £25 per team.
Under 6's Event
We also run on the Sunday afternoon an Under 6's none competitive event which last year had 24 teams playing.
If you have an Under 6's section and would like them to enter please contact us for an application form.
Entry to the Under 6's event is £20 per team.
Confirmation of entry into the event will be by our website where we will add your name when we receive your application.
Receipts will only be sent out if requested on your application form.
An information pack will then be sent out about three weeks before the event.
If there are other age groups at your club that would like to enter please download another application form from our website in the documents section or phone us for another invite.

Hessle Sporting Club will be holding their annual six a side tournament on Saturday 5th & Sunday 6th June 2010 at the Hessle High Lower School. This is one of the largest tournaments in the East Riding and last year saw over 120 teams enter from all over Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and the North East. New for this year in the introduction of under 6’s, please note all age groups are based on current season 2009/10. Saturday 5th will be Under 6’s to Under 9’s & Sunday 6th will be Under 10’s to Under 13’s. The price to enter is £25 or (£40 for 2 if a manager enters 2 teams). Withernsea AFC are holding their annual 6-a-side tournament over the weekend of Saturday 17th July for U7s, 8s, 9s and 10s and Sunday 18th July for U11s,12s,13s and 14s. With the HBSFL now having U7s we are also having a fun pitch for the Academy (school yr 1) who will join the U7s league in September on the Saturday.
The tournament will take place on Hull Rd playing Field and for some teams across at the junior school.
The charge for entering teams is £20.
There will be refreshments and other fund raising activities on the day.
This has become one of the largest tournaments in the area and a fantastic weekend of football for all to enjoy.

Saturday 19th for ages Under 7s, 9s, 11s, 13s & 15s and Sunday 20th for Under 8s, 10s, 12s, 14s and Girls U14s & Girls U16s. The cost to enter is £20 per team.
