| The under 14s HBSFL representatives team (pictured above) took on old friends Doncaster Junior League and their representative side at the 3g pitch on Inglemire Lane on Friday 7 November 2008 against. The game was a creditable 2 - 0 victory to the HBSFL refereed by David Bade.

| The special award for referees was presented at the AGM in May at the KC Stadium. The trophies are won by referees who have the highest average marks at the end of the season providing they have completed a set number of games. All marks are awarded to referees by managers for performances on a game by game basis. The winner of the 2007/8 Junior Referee of the Year award was Mark Doy (right). The Senior Referee of the Year for 2007/8 for the second year running was Dave Bade. |
